I feel incredibly lucky to work here in This Natural World on the land of the muwinina people, and I acknowledge the Aboriginal community of nipaluna and wider lutruwita as the original and ongoing Custodians of this land.

Indigenous connection to country, language and culture can teach us much, and it's with great respect that I reflect on the perspectives of Aboriginal leaders and their community of all generations. Sovereignty was never ceded - this always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
